What’s Included?

Self-Paced Virtual Classroom Membership Includes:

• 20 hours of SAT and/or 20 hours of ACT recorded classroom lessons (10 self-paced lessons for the SAT and 10 self-paced lessons for the ACT in 2-hour lesson blocks).

• The recorded classes are designed to give students a strong foundation for the ACT and SAT. Because the membership program is only $29.99/month, it's also the biggest bang for your buck.

• The classes are hosted on our StarU tutoring platform. The StarU subscription is linked to the student-tutor-parent account, which allows students, tutors, and parents to see the student’s results so everyone can work more effectively and efficiently. It provides students with access to officially released ACT and SAT practice tests, while also providing personalized practice lessons based on results from the previous practice test.

• The recorded classroom membership also includes access to our StarU Smart Bubble Sheet.

• Unlimited access to the recorded classroom lessons.

• All necessary materials will be provided after purchasing the membership.

Steps to purchase the recorded classroom:

• Create a student account (takes less than 5 minutes and can be registered through a Google or Apple ID).

• Login using your newly created student account and credentials.

• Once logged in, click “Recorded Video Lessons” on the student home screen.

Recorded Classroom + 1-on-1 Lesson Combo Pack

• We want to make sure that students get the most out of their experience working with Star Tutors, so we have created a recorded classroom and virtual 1-on-1 package. In this program, students work through the 20-hour recorded classroom and then work for 10 individual hours with one of our highly experienced tutors.

  • 20 hours of recorded classroom instruction - 10 lessons with each lesson two hours in length (same as the lessons mentioned in the recorded classroom description above).

  • 10 hours of personal and customized SAT or ACT tutoring. While the 20-hour virtual classroom gives students a strong foundation for the tests, the 10 hours of individual lessons will help them maximize their scores! Tutors will work with students on individual areas of need based on the comprehensive analysis provided by the results of the practice tests covered during the virtual classroom!

  • Speaking of those proctored practice tests, each recorded classroom schedules two proctored practice tests within the program, one at the beginning and one at the end to help track progress. Students will take an officially released ACT test that has been administered in the last two years, and our tutors will then provide comprehensive analysis and score reports to help students focus on their individual needs.

• Star Tutors Perfect SAT or ACT Tutorial - We are proud to say that we are the only test prep company in the country that has comprehensive in-house curriculum written exclusively by current SAT and ACT tutors and teachers.

• Because the membership program is only $29.99/month, it's also a great way to save some money upfront, which can then be applied to more individual lessons if needed after students have completed the recorded lessons! It also allows for the individual lessons to be very efficient and effective as students will already have a strong understanding of either the ACT or SAT exam. 

• Our tutors are required to score in the 99th percentile on a practice exam before being hired, and we really feel that our tutors set us apart from other companies. While many companies employ part-time tutors, we've always believed that a tutoring roster with mostly full-time tutors is the best way to achieve results.

• Once the recorded video subscription has been purchased, please return to the student home screen, where you’ll then click “Products” at the bottom of the screen.

• There, you’ll see our 10-hour and 20-hour packages (with the associated discounts applied) for our 1-on-1 SAT and ACT tutoring programs.

• Please follow the steps to purchase either the 10-hour or 20-hour package, and as soon as the package has been purchased, our admin team will quickly be in touch (if you haven’t spoked to someone already) to discuss preferred tutors and to set-up the tutor introductions.
