Our mission at Star Tutors is to positively impact and influence academic learning by being available to students anytime, anywhere. Each member of the Star Tutors team has demonstrated a desire to help students succeed in all aspects of their lives. We hire tutors that not only have significant tutoring and teaching experience, but also have had successful careers in other fields including architecture, medicine, accounting, and much more!

The Star Tutors ACT and SAT In-person Classrooms allow students to prepare for the tests in a small-group setting. This environment provides peer-to-peer engagement and accountability. (Note: the in-person classroom option is currently only available for students in the Los Angeles Area.)

About the program

Through the course of just 10 lessons, students will learn all the basic principles and strategies needed for success on each test. 

Additionally, with the assistance of our StarU on-demand tutoring app, students can get help from any of our great ACT and SAT tutors from their phones, tablets, and desktops at any time!

The 28-hour in-person Program Includes:

  • 10 2-hour instructional sessions (20-hours total).

  • 2 full length practice tests with in-depth analysis from your instructor (4 hours per test).

  • All necessary materials, including a copy of our comprehensive Perfect SAT or Perfect ACT Tutorial.
